Sjö Named RRAC Golfer of the Week

Texas A&M-San Antonio junior golfer Nils Emil Sjö was named RRAC Male Golfer of the Week for April 6–12 after winning the individual title at the Lark Invitational. Competing against 85 golfers, Sjö finished at +1 overall across three rounds and helped lead the Jaguars to a first-place team finish out of 14 teams.

The Jaguars battled extreme conditions and elite competition, delivering a strong second-round performance and climbing 12 spots to No. 67 nationally.

Loris Bonnetton of Texas A&M University–San Antonio earned RRAC Men’s Golfer of the Week honors after leading the Jaguars to their first-ever tournament win at the Chicken Express Classic. He finished four-under-par with rounds of 70, 68, and 67.

Men's Golf Makes Historic Run At Wayland

The Jaguar men’s golf team earned its first tournament win in program history at the Chicken Express Classic, highlighted by a record 13-under second round and a one-hole playoff victory over Wayland Baptist. Sophomore Loris Bonnetton Alban led the final round at four-under-par.

Men's Golf Makes History in Fort Worth

The Jaguar men’s golf team opened the 2025–26 season at the Texas Intercollegiate, making history with the lowest team round ever at A&M–San Antonio by shooting four-under in the final round. Led by Viktor Akin’s three-under performance, the Jaguars finished the tournament in seventh place.
