Jaguars roll past Louisiana Christian, 93–58
San Antonio, TX- Texas A&M–San Antonio put together a dominant wire-to-wire performance as the Jaguars cruised to a 93–58 victory over Louisiana Christian on Thursday, improving to 11–4 overall and 8–1 in conference play.
The Jaguars set the tone early, jumping out to a 25–20 lead after the first quarter before blowing the game open in the second. A&M–San Antonio poured in 30 points in the period while holding Louisiana Christian to just 11, taking a commanding 55–31 advantage into halftime.
A&M–San Antonio continued to control the game after the break, outscoring the Wildcats 20–10 in the third quarter to extend the margin to 75–41. The Jaguars maintained their rhythm in the final frame, closing out the contest with an 18-point fourth quarter to secure the 35-point win.
The Jaguars showcased depth and balance throughout the night, with consistent scoring across all four quarters and strong defensive pressure limiting Louisiana Christian to 58 total points. A&M–San Antonio's offense was especially efficient in transition, capitalizing on stops and turning them into scoring opportunities.
