Bio

Nicole Dame is in her sixth season as head softball coach at Texas A&M University-San  Antonio, bringing 16 years of coaching experience to the Jaguars program. She is  responsible for all aspects of the women’s softball program, including coaching, player  development, recruitment and academic support, while remaining committed to the  broader educational mission of the University. Dame previously served as the assistant  softball coach at Concordia University from 2016 to 2020, head coach at Walker High  School from 2014 to 2016, head coach at The Runnels School from 2012 to 2014, and  assistant coach at St. Amant High School from 2009 to 2012. In February 2023, she earned  her 100th career win with A&M-San Antonio in a victory over Howard Payne. Dame holds a  B.A. in history from the University of Texas and an MBA with a minor in athletic  administration from Southern New Hampshire University. A San Antonio native and  graduate of Southside High School, Dame is actively involved in community outreach,  volunteering with youth softball programs, Lone Star Play Ball, Snack Pack 4 Kids, and the  San Antonio Food Bank. She is a member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
