Jaguars Fall to North American

Houston, TX- Texas A&M University–San Antonio came up short on the scoreboard Tuesday afternoon, falling 82–71 to North American University in a conference matchup.

The Jaguars stayed competitive throughout the opening half, trading baskets with the Stallions and keeping the game within reach. A&M–San Antonio put together a strong offensive showing before the break, heading into halftime trailing just 42–41 after a back-and-forth first 20 minutes.

North American gained separation in the second half, using a 40-point period to pull away. The Jaguars continued to battle, but the Stallions' efficiency on the offensive end proved to be the difference as they maintained their lead down the stretch.

Despite the loss, A&M–San Antonio showed resilience, staying aggressive on both ends of the floor and competing until the final horn. The Jaguar's Antwone Gonzales finished with a season high 20 points coming off the bench to lead the team in scorring.
