Bio

Laramie Schwenke is entering her second season as the women’s assistant basketball  coach at Texas A&M University–San Antonio, where she has helped guide the Jaguars to an  impressive 18-12 overall record and a 14-10 finish in Red River Athletic Conference play  during the program’s inaugural season. Schwenke brings extensive experience as both a  player and coach, previously serving as associate head coach at Williston State College  (NJCAA Division I) for three seasons, where she compiled a 66-29 record. A native of Malta,  Montana, she played collegiately at Montana State University–Northern, earning multiple  All-Conference and All-American honors. She began her coaching career at her alma mater  as an assistant coach and sports information director from 2012 to 2014, before becoming  the girls head basketball coach at Harlem High School from 2014 to 2018. After a season  as a graduate assistant at Idaho State University, she returned to Harlem High as athletic  director and head girls basketball coach from 2019 to 2021. Schwenke holds bachelor’s 

degrees in both diesel mechanics technology and health and physical education from  Montana State University–Northern and a master’s degree in athletic administration from  Idaho State University.
